Ricky Martin Bechtold, 56, of La Vernia, passed away Nov. 20, 2010. He was born June 15, 1954 in San Antonio. He was a member of San Antonio Gear Grinders.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alois Bechtold; brother, David Bechtold; and his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rayna Ardell Bechtold; his daughter, Casey Ray Bechtold; his sons, Kody Martin Bechtold and Kenny Carroll Bechtold; his grandson, Kenny Nathaniel Bechtold "K.J."; his mother, Ruth Evelyn (Bechtold) Sparks; his stepfather, Merval Sparks; his sister, Ruth Ann Ford; and very good friends, Donnie Slocum and Brad Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at Finch Funeral Chapel.
