MacArthur High School
Class Of 1973

Welcome to the  (San Antonio) MacArthur High Class Of 1973 web site.

We're so happy you found us!  Please join the site by clicking on the "Join Here" link in the grey box to the right ---> Information you provide is accessible only by our classmates and guest members.   Registering will keep us connected and allow us to share information about future events.

We had a great time last year at the 40th Reunion - pictures are available for viewing. Our last gathering was a fun evening on August 23, 2014 at O'Briens Restaurant in Bergheim hosted by Becky Thieleman O'Brien- pics also available.

We plan to have annual get togethers that will be communicated and organized using this site. The current thinking is a redo at O'Briens Restaurant in September 2015. If someone would like to organize a gathering before then give us shout and we will help get the word out, sign people up, etc.

It's been fun reconnecting with those that have made it to the recent events!

Your website hosts,

Brad Wheeless and Kay Peterson

I've finished a fiction book, "Walden Shock" available on Amazon, which I know will entertain you. When you consider "1984" and "Walden Two", you see authors painting a future influenced by Communist theory after WWII; one heavy on dialectic, the other lighter but still disturbing in many ways.

The 21st century is full of dystopian movies and some even have happy endings. “Walden Shock” draws a future of promise, of people growing and succeeding in the coming Singularity of explosive technological change. This bridge moment to the future of artificial intelligence is something that few have addressed. Few writers today have offered an optimistic few of the outcome.

Like my other books, there are many stories that some of you might recognize if you were a participant, but in this story they are heavily disguised under imagination. Nobody will recognize you unless you tell them, and even then, much more than half of any episode is purest smoke.

Cowboys, guns, and robots in West Texas. It don’t get no better!
Even my ex-wife loves it. That means all my wife-times enjoy it. That says something!

It is on Amazon now in Kindle format, but the paperback will be available early January 2018.
