      50th Reunion

The 50th Reunion is now history!  I hope everyone who was able to come had a great time!  We sure missed those of you who weren't able to be with us.

Call Goldbeck Company (210-656-1445) if you want to order one or both of the group photos (classmates only and/or classmates and guests).  Just tell them you want the Mac 50th Reunion photo taken on October 21.  Each photo is $35.00.  $6.00 for shipping and handling will be added to your order.

Send your personal reunion photos to macarthurhighschool1973@gmail.com, and I'll upload them to this site as soon as possible.  I'll also try to upload the personal photos video that was played at the reunion.  Thank you to David Young for preparing the video!

A special shout out to Ann Richardson and her decorating team, Debbie Jameson (Skerhut) and Becky Steel (Marx), and Becky's arm candy, Bob Marx!  My personal hero is Susan Shannon (Knighten), who sustained me during the planning process with her advice, friendship, kindness and patience, and for helping with all the last minute things that needed to be accomplished.  Most of all, a toast to the BEST class ever!!!

Kay

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Hey All!
Sorry I missed the 50th, I was on cab duty for my beautiful niece and friends who were attending Mac’s Homecoming dance. Mr. Kelly’s been filling me in, and of course, I will apologize for his behavior. I’m back in SA for a while, and I must say…
Well, it ain’t the Bay Area, but then, San Francisco's gone to hell in a hand basket anyway.
Hope everyone is happy and well! Last, dear Editor, please put a break between this, and Pat's trip down memory lane, below. Contrary to rumor, we are -not- joined at the hip. Larry Saenz
I remember having Mr. Dalton for biology. I wasn't doing too well in his class. Maybe it was just me or maybe it was because I couldn't understand him.

Anyway, my mother was called in for a Teacher-Parent conference. I sat in the hall while this was going on, thinking how much trouble I was going to be in.

When she came out she silently walked me down the hall in the Science Bldg. She put her arm around me, bent over and whispered in my ear......"It's OK if you fail his class"

I will never forget that.
Ahoy surviving classmates,

For what it's worth, The Gloopniks, the band I'm drumming for, would have played our 50th for beer. That is, if trashy 60's instrumental tunes fit the bill. I've no idea if I've attached anything correctly to this post. In fact, now I'm wondering why I posted this in the first place?

spirit, pride, ability and a bag of chips,

Pat Kelly
