George died in 1989. I attended George's funeral. The Bexar county sheriffs offices declared it a murder suicide. He and his wife were found killed by gunshot wounds and their baby was found alive in one of the bedrooms. Family, friends, and neighbors believe it was an ex-boyfriend who murdered them.

George was a very good friend of mine for several years and I thought I knew him well. He was under a tremendous amount of pressure from his family and I guess that caught up with him eventually. I was very sorry to hear about his passing and always felt it was a tremendous waste.
