Jon and I lived close to one another growing up. In elementary school, going back to the 2nd grade, we discovered a special connection. We were talking one day about how occasionally our ears would ring. After that, while sitting in class, if one of us had an occasional ringing ear we would look at each other. To this day if my ear rings I think of Jonathan and his broad smile.

Jonathan & I lived on the upper and lower ends of the 9600 block of LaRue Street just south of campus.Hence our paths crossed daily and Jonathan was truly "one of the good guys" - always magnanimous and a genuinely caring gentleman of Mac 73.
