Kathleen and I met through speech and drama activities, shared many classes, and became close friends, but we drifted apart after I left for college in Missouri. She was so intelligent, well-spoken (also outspoken!), and passionate about making the workld a better place that I wasn't surprised to learn many years later that she became an attorney. I recently learned that she passed away September 2004 and am sad that she is no longer with us. She lived in Tucker, GA, outside of Atlanta, with her husband, Daniel Schoenfield, who passed. away in November 2002. I think her borother, David (class of 1975), still lives in the San Antonio area.
